Matthew Prather - March 21, 2021

Perspective

They were not looking for a Savior from their sin. They were looking for someone... Who could get the Romans off their back. They didn’t like that. They had heard about this guy that had raised Lazarus from the dead. They get excited… This is the guy that raises people from the dead. If he did that surely he can handle the Romans. John tells us… Some were asking who is this guy? I don’t know but he is our meal ticket...Man He can handle the Romans...He raises people from the dead. A lot of them didn’t even know who he was. But one thing is for sure...They were looking for what they wanted.

From Series: "Headlines"

Jesus lived thousands of years ago, yet he still makes headlines today. No other figure in history has had so much publicity — good or bad. So what is it about him that keeps people talking? And what does his provocative life have to do with you, today?
