Matthew Prather is the founding and lead Pastor of The Bridge Church Midlothian/Waxahchie.
Pastor Matthew and Amy prather are passionate about reaching people in Ellis County and beyond with the life-transforming message of Jesus! Matthew graduated from Liberty University with a Masters in Biblical Studies, while Amy is a First Grade Teacher at Longbranch Elementery. Together, they enjoy hanging out, they love spending time in the outdoors hiking and kyaking, watching numerous TV Shows, and hanging out with friends and family. Worship
Amy leads our Worship Team.
Our heart is that that our music will be fresh and dynamic, less of a performance and more of a time where people participate together in seeking God.
God wants our worship to be motivated by love, thanksgiving, and delight, not duty. Worship is far more than praising, singing, and praying to God. Worship is a lifestyle of enjoying God, loving him, and giving ourselves to be used for his purposes. When you use your life for God’s glory, everything you do can become an act of worship.
Amy is married to Matthew and they have two boys. They love to travel and explore new places.

Justin and Haleigh lead our outreach ministries of The Bridge. Justin and Haleigh have one child. They have a heart for serving others and reaching out community. In her free time Haleigh loves to decorate, enjoys hanging out with friends and family, and watching their favorite TV shows together.
