Hope Rises
We have this opportunity to walk with God and all we have to do is believe. So let me ask you this again...What is the opposite of belief. Doubt. Yes...But what if it wasn’t. What if Doubt was not the opposite of belief. What if they were not a-posed. What if they were connected. What if this battle we tend to fight between belief and doubt… What if it is not something to be won. What if it is something to be navigated. There reason I say that is there is a story in the book of Mark… It is a story of a Man that comes to Jesus. He is desperate for his son to be healed. Jesus looks at him and says anything is possible for someone that believes. The man in a very honest moment… Says I do believe but help me overcome my unbelief. If Jesus was like us in that moment he would say which is it? Do you believe or do you not believe.

Fear is contagious, but so is hope. Hope is more powerful than fear. Let’s be peoplewho share hope. In a culture of fear, let’s choose to be FOR people. Fear is contagious. You see it when you watch the news. We don’t just see it with the virus itself. We see it when it comes to travel. When it comes to preparation. You are concerned Somebody knows something you don’t know. Or you are watching your online feed all the time. Or you keep the news on. The fear becomes contagious. So where do these symptoms come from?
